Spain: International College of Seville, Seville
Located in beautiful Seville, this program draws upon the resources of the International College of Seville (ICS) and the University of Seville. Near the center of the city, both institutions border a lovely park and provide easy access to the many cultural and historical attractions of Seville. During the semester program, students may choose from Spanish language courses at all levels and coursework conducted in English in subjects such as history, political science, literature, and business. Students who are proficient in the Spanish language may take upper-level international studies courses taught in Spanish at the University of Seville. During the summer, students may choose between a four- or five-week Intensive Spanish Language and Culture Program and an eight-week Arabic/Spanish Studies Program. All programs include visits to surrounding cities like Granada and Cordoba, and some include an overnight excursion to Morocco, Africa.

ICS is housed in a three-story Andalusian villa located in the charming neighborhood of El Porvenir, adjacent to the beautiful Mari´a Luisa Park. A reference library, a TV room, Internet facilities, and study areas are available to students.
The College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), a partnership of colleges and universities—two and four year, large and small, public and private, domestic and foreign—encompasses the broad spectrum of international higher education. CCIS members sponsor a variety of programs, notably study abroad programs and professional development seminars for faculty and administrators, which are designed to enhance international/intercultural perspectives within the academic community.

In addition to the historical sites such as churches, palaces and museums, Seville also has modern transportation, many hotels and restaurants, and theatres. ICS, founded in 1982, is a private educational institute with its own classrooms, library, and study areas. It provides a full range of academic advising and student services, as well as numerous activities designed to complement the academic program. ICS academic partner, the University of Seville, was founded in the sixteenth century and is one of the top-ranked universities in Spain, serving over 70,000 students.
