The Almería province, which receives the most sunshine and least rainfall in all of Europe, has beautiful beaches, natural parks, and an array of interesting villages to visit. Students can improve their Spanish through a combination of classroom instruction and excursions throughout southern Spain that include trips to the Alhambra in Granada, Cabo de Gata Natural Park, and historic and cultural landmarks throughout Almería. In addition to daily classes, these trips count toward students’ total credit hours.
