Program Description:
As the biggest university in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg cooperates with more than 200 institutions of higher education from around the world in study programs and joint research projects. The majority of study programs at the MLU are offered in German. Exclusively in English are the following study programs:
  • English and American Studies
  • Business Economics (Bachelor)
  • Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Master)
  • Biomedical Engineering (Master)
  • Polymer Materials Science (Master)
Good knowledge of German language is absolutely necessary for a successful academic stay. Please pay special attention to the academic calendar as it is different than the U.S. academic calendar.
