Program Description:
KGU is located in the heart of Kumamoto City, the sister city to Bozeman. Visiting exchange students are assigned to a specific department but are allowed to take any course, including regular courses taught in Japanese, in any department. In addition, KGU provides special courses for visiting exchange students: Japanese courses designed especially for exchange students with a limited proficiency in Japanese. The courses are either taught bilingually (Japanese/English) or in English.
