PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
  • Spend your weekends hiking in the rolling green hills, debating politics in a cozy coffee shop, diving into the local music scene, or shopping at the farmer’s market—Northern Ireland offers something for everyone!
  • Make the most of the wide scope of academic options available across Ulster’s four campuses, each offering a unique collection of programs to align with student interests.
  • Join the supportive and inclusive community at Ulster University, known for its top-notch campus facilities and helpful staff
  • Choose from four unique campuses: Ulster has campuses in modern and bustling Belfast, student-centered Jordanstown, friendly and historic Derry, and the relaxed riverside town of Coleraine.

LIFE ABROAD
Northern Ireland offers youthful cities and unspoiled countryside, an exploding food scene, and thriving arts. Public transportation makes it easy to explore the region. Compelling history, inspiring stories, and rich traditions spark the imagination, and Ulster’s top-notch research and teaching provide an excellent academic experience.

What We Love About Ulster
Everyone is open and friendly! A top local experience is grabbing a pint at the local pub and talking to the people or enjoying a night of traditional music. According to one alumna, “I could sit down next to a complete stranger, and we would have a deep and intellectual conversation. There is just such a welcoming atmosphere.”

University of Ulster consists of four campuses across Northern Ireland. As the capital and major port city of Northern Ireland, Belfast offers a broad spectrum of social and cultural activities. The campus is located only five minutes from a renowned and enormous shopping mall, and is only a ten-minute walk from the city center.

The Belfast Campus is noted for its excellent and well-respected Art and Design programs. Facilities include a brand new building, plenty of studio space, and a superb library collection. Please note art and design students engage in very hands-on and self-directed learning in most courses, so only advanced students are admitted into the program.
